Woman dies after crash in Pottawatomie County
About 7:45 a.m., Cora Smith, 67, of Macomb, was headed east on SH 9 and was stopped behind a vehicle making a left turn, troopers said. A minivan driven by Delela Garcia, 18, of Macomb, hit the back of Smith’s vehicle, causing it to hit the vehicle in front of it.
Smith, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. Garcia was transported to Oklahoma City Hospital.
