OHP Identifies Person Of Interest In Hit-And-Run That Killed Shawnee Toddler

According to the OHP, troopers have identified Mark Dwayne Robbins as a “person of definite interest” in this case.

Troopers tell a local television station the father was treated for injuries and released. Authorities say they have a person of interest but haven’t released a description of the suspect.

A father was pushing his 3-year-old child in a stroller on Westech Road at about 9:45 p.m. when a car driving on the road collided with both of them and promptly drove away. The toddler was pronounced dead later at the hospital, and the father survived but had to be treated for some head injuries. The vehicle was described as a white 2007 Mazda 3, and Mark Dwayne Robbins has been identified as a person of interest. Check back for updates on this developing story.
