Take these important steps after a serious or fatal bicycle accident: When you have been seriously injured in a bicycle accident, or if a loved one has been killed in a bike crash, it’s hard to know what to do first. Bicycle collisions often result in more severe injuries, and even fatalities, because bicyclists are not protected from the impact of a crash. After an accident, a bike rider faces a daily struggle to recover from injuries while dealing with medical bills and lost income. And the families of bike riders killed in collisions must face moving forward without their loved one. It is important to investigate a bike accident immediately while witnesses’ memories and physical evidence are fresh and intact. Sometimes faulty equipment or unsafe roads can make even the safest rider at risk for an accident.  Lawyers with experience in bicycle accidents can begin the process of securing evidence immediately to support your claim.
