A 28-year-old driving a Honda Civic was struck by a pickup truck on Oregon 47 near Maple Street at 6 a.m., police said in a news release. The man was transported to a Portland trauma center with life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Civic was also injured and taken to a Portland hospital.
