Three people were badly injured Thursday when a collision sent a car plunging off a cliff and onto the edge of the Molalla River. Someone in the lead car tried to call 911 but had no signal at the remote location. Two cars were southbound on Molalla Forest Road about 5 p.m. near a location called Kegger Rock south of Molalla, according to the Clackamas County sheriff's office. The one in the rear swerved to avoid the one in the front and a collision sent the car in the rear over the cliff and 40 feet down to the river's edge.
