Newport man killed in head-on crash with possible drunk driver
Dauenhauer was taken to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, 32-year-old Jennifer R. Rozewski, of Waldport, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Fugate said.
Rozewski was arrested for second-degree manslaughter and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Police believe alcohol contributed to the crash.
