The girl was walking across the street when she was hit by a westbound driver at Southeast 43rd Avenue.
Driver arrested for manslaughter in crash that killed teen girl
Noorah was driving with a suspended license and nearly collided with other cars before hitting the girl, police said. He was arrested for second-degree manslaughter, felony hit and run, and reckless driving.
Teen who died in hit-and-run identified as Franklin High School sophomore
The teenage girl who died Friday after being hit by a car in Southeast Portland was Fallon Smart, a 15-year-old student who was about to begin her sophomore year at Franklin High School.
