Four people hospitalized after head-on crash
The driver of the Accent, Phil P. Watkins, 61, of Willamina, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland. The driver of the Elantra, Timothy M. McCready, 43, of Sheridan, was taken to Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville with serious injuries. A passenger from each vehicle was taken to Salem Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
