Fatal, fiery crash shuts down portion of Route 15, melts part of road
The southbound lanes of Route 15 are shut down at Hickory Road in Franklin Township. Hickory Road is also shut down in the area. Crews have to repave a portion of the road that was melted in the vehicle fire.

The crash happened near mile marker 28.8 after a car pulled out in front of a truck, according to PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny. The truck pushed the car about 500 feet and it caught fire.
