Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Hanover Borough police responded to an accident on the 200 block of East Chestnut Street.
11 year old boy injured by out of control vehicle in Hanover
There were no other reported injuries. No word on the condition of the child. Borough police say their investigation continues.
A 16-year-old male was driving a Mustang, and lost control of the vehicle while turning onto East Chestnut Street. The Mustang veered onto the sidewalk and struck an 11-year-old boy, who was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle stopped when it struck the back of a nearby residence. Authorities are still investigating this accident.
