Bicyclist struck and seriously injured near Grandview Heights
New Holland Avenue remained closed Monday at 5 p.m., three-plus hours after the accident, and was expected to stay closed for several more hours. The area is near the entrance to Manheim Township's Grandview Heights neighborhood, just east of Lancaster.
A bicyclist was traveling eastbound when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of New Holland Avenue and Pleasure Road. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. His identity and the identity of the driver have not yet been released.
