A man was cited for a traffic violation after a collision Sunday in East Hanover Township that left one dead and at least three others seriously injured, state police said. While a state police news release did not go into details on what may have caused the collision, troopers responded around 1 a.m. to the area of Bow Creek and Firehouse roads. A passenger in the first vehicle, 26-year-old Harrisburg resident Brandon D. Faust, was pronounced dead shortly after troopers arrived. Of the four others involved, three were taken to Hershey Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the release. Among those transported to Hershey was 22-year-old Grantville resident Joshua K. Miller, who was driving the first vehicle, a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, police said. Miller was cited for failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic, a non-criminal offense, police added. Namrata A. Parekh, 28, and Rujul C. Shah, 27, both passengers in the second vehicle, a 2010 Mercedes Benz S550, also suffered major injuries and were rushed to Hershey Medical Center, the release states. The driver of the second vehicle, identified as 30-year-old Aman J. Parekh, suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized, according to Tuesday's release. Namrata and Aman Parekh are Enola residents, while state police identified Shah as a resident of Doswell, Va., according to the release.
