Emergency personnel flew a passenger in Smith's vehicle to Allegheny General Hospital, North Side, for treatment, according to the coroner's office. Two other motorists were injured, and their conditions were not available.

One person was killed in a multiple-vehicle collision in Union Township Friday night. Stacy Smith, 47, of Eighty Four, died when the vehicle she was driving was involved in the accident with two other vehicles. The accident occured shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Route 88, near Airport Road. A passenger in Smith’s vehicle was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. That person’s condition has not been released.
