Woman dies in Somerset crash

The driver of the sedan, who was not named in the release, was flown to a Pittsburgh area hospital and the driver of the truck, who was also not named, suffered minor injuries.
Donna P. Simboli, 58, of Monongahela, was killed Saturday night when the vehicle she was a passenger in was hit by a truck in Somerset.  Ms. Simboli died from blunt force trauma, according to the county coroner. The collision occurred at 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Route 136 and Brownlee Road. Ms. Simboli was in the front passenger seat of a sedan traveling east on Route 136 when it was hit by a truck traveling north on Brownlee Road. Ms. Simboli died in the ambulance while preparing to be airlifted.  The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
