WORKER KILLED IN ACCIDENT AT MARCUS HOOK SUNOCO REFINERY

It happened around 2:15 p.m. at Blue Ball Avenue and Post Road on the grounds of the refinery.
Sunoco Logistics says that a contractor was fatally injured around 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex near the Pennsylvania-Delaware border in an industrial accident. The facility where the accident took place is currently being converted by Sunoco from an oil refinery to a natural gas storage facility and terminal. No further details have been released.
