19 injured in multi-vehicle Center City crash involving school bus, taxi; SUV hits bank
19 people were injured after an accident in Center City Philadelphia involving multiple vehicles including a school bus, a taxi, an SUV, and a SEPTA bus.The accident occurred just before noon Thursday at 15th Street and JFK Boulevard.SEPTA officials tell Action News, a Route 17 bus was somehow involved, however, they are still trying to determine the exact details.13 people on the bus suffered minor injuries. All were transported to Hahnemann University Hospital.Action News is told six additional people have been taken to local hospitals. It is not yet clear where these people were located during the crash.Chopper 6 over the scene showed the Lincoln SUV crashed into a TD Bank, with shattered glass covering the hood.Officials say no one was injured inside the bank.
