The striking vehicle is described as a late-model Jeep Rubicon with a spare tire mounted to the rear. It will now also have front-end damage, police say.

Police say the victim 53 year-old Ann Broderick, from the Kensington section of Philadelphia was hit about 3:15 a.m. Sunday near Broad and Race Streets.

The striking vehicle is described as a white four-door Jeep Rubicon with a white hard top, very distinct black fenders, lifted and oversized wheels, along with a spare tire mounted to the rear,and louvers on the hood.

On Tuesday, sources say police found the Jeep in Collingsdale after receiving a tip on the location. The vehicle is currently being processed by Philadelphia police at the Collingdale police garage.     

Race Street Hit-and-Run Driver ID'd, Expected to Surrender

The driver, identified as Brendon Hay, is expected to face charges for leaving the scene of the fatal crash that occurred Aug. 6 at 13th and Race streets, next to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, sources said.     

Suspect in fatal Center City hit-and-run surrenders to police

The charges include involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, and accident involving death. Police say a tip led investigators to a white Jeep Wrangler in Collingdale, Delaware County.
