Pedestrian struck and killed by SEPTA bus in Center City Pedestrian struck and killed by SEPTA bus in Center City A SEPTA bus struck and killed a pedestrian overnight at 11th and Walnut Streets in Center City, according to Philadelphia Police.Per SEPTA and Chief Inspector Scott Small, after the incident, the bus driver was flagged down by a taxi at 11th and Vine Streets. The taxi driver then informed the bus driver that they struck someone.The SEPTA driver allegedly was not aware that they struck someone.The person who was struck was DOA.The bus involved in the incident was a route 23 bus.

Man fatally struck by SEPTA bus in Center City

A man died after he was hit by a SEPTA bus overnight in Center City. Philadelphia police said the pedestrian was struck near 11th and Walnut streets shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
