2 hurt as garbage truck crashes over Pennsylvania hillside

Officials at Bigs Sanitation in Belle Vernon say they're still gathering information and responding to the crash, and could not immediately provide additional details on the Thursday morning crash. Westmoreland County dispatchers say the truck ran off the road about 6 a.m. in Rostraver Township. The driver was reportedly trying to make a left turn at the bottom of a hill, when the truck smashed through a median and went down an embankment into the creek. It was not immediately clear if the two people injured were both in the truck. Their conditions and names were not immediately available.
