Allentown man charged in fatal Saw Mill Run crash.

Robert Freund, 21, faces charges of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter and other crimes in connection with a crash near the intersection of Saw Mill Run Boulevard and Lewis Street Sunday night.

The Allegheny County medical examiner's office this morning identified a man killed Sunday night in a crash on Route 51.

James Posey, 60, of Pittsburgh, died and several others were injured, when multiple vehicles collided at Route 51, also known as Saw Mill Run Boulevard, and Woodruff Street shortly after 9:15 p.m., according to emergency responders at the scene.

Pittsburgh police said one driver is in custody and suspected of driving under the influence.

An Allegheny County dispatcher said police had closed the Parkway ramp at Route 51.

Three children were injured in the crash. Their conditions were not available this morning.

Pittsburgh police crash investigations unit and city homicide detectives are investigating.

UPDATE: Robert Freund has been arrested and charged in conjunction with this accident.
