Two Pennsylvania high school cheerleaders killed in crash

A pair of Pennsylvania high school cheerleaders were killed in a devastating car accident less than a week before the start of the school year. A post on the Jim Thorpe Cheerleaders Facebook page said the deaths of the two sophomores broke their hearts. The two members of the Jim Thorpe Area High School were killed and three other teenagers and a 72-year-old woman were injured in the crash, police said. "The students had great spirit and pride in Jim Thorpe and that's going to help everyone move on," Jim Thorpe Area High School Principal Thomas Lesisko told the station. The school will begin classes on Wednesday and they have already canceled an event scheduled this week that involved the squad.
