SCHP investigating double fatal wreck on Interstate 26

A Ford SUV was traveling eastbound on I-26 when it ran off of the right side of the road and overturned, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury said Sunday the crash just after midnight took the lives of 44-year-old Ruth Ruffin of Charleston and her 12-year-old son Eyfinn.
