Troopers say on Sunday, January 21 at 5:50 p.m., the driver of a 2017 Jeep SUV was headed south on Highway 17 failed to yield the right way and attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway.

Michael Walter, of Cape May, was a front-seat passenger in a northbound SUV that was struck by a southbound Jeep attempting to make a left into a driveway on Route 17, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
