Victim identified in fatal crash on James Island

Charleston police are investigating a fatal accident involving a car and a pedestrian on James Island. The person has been identified as 15 year old Gabriel Seagraves of James Island. Saturday near Mapelton Drive and Secessionville Lane, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis. Police are still working to identify the cause of the accident, Francis said. Police say Gabriel was skateboarding when the incident happened.
