Troopers investigating early morning fatal hit-and-run

Troopers say two people were hit by a car on Bluff Road near Montgomery Lane. The driver of the car fled the scene before authorities arrived. 

Local basketball standout killed in Hit and Run

Hodges, a 22-year-old Smoaks resident, was attending Benedict College in Columbia, where he signed a basketball scholarship this past August to play for the Tigers. Saturday evening, Hodges took the court for the Tigers against Kansas State, playing 26-minutes in the game and scoring 3-points.
