SCHP: Driver ejected in Interstate 77 collision dies at hospital

One person was transported to Palmetto Richland hospital with serious injuries after a wreck on Interstate 77 on Friday afternoon, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Two vehicles collided on Northbound I77 just past the Shop Road exit shortly after 4:00 p.m. after one vehicle lost control and ran into a guardrail.

Coroner identifies victim in fatal I-77 crash as 29-year-old Columbia man

The coroner identified the victim as Joshua Craig Weatherford, 29, of Columbia.
