Young mother, 18, killed in crash
A young mother heading home from work died Friday night when her car crashed into a SUV, authorities said. Hailey Dawn Kiley, 18, of Iva, was traveling on U.S. 76 outside Anderson about 11:40 p.m. when her Saturn lost control, crossed the grass median and struck a GMC Yukon, according to troopers and the Anderson County Coroner's Office.

ANDERSON — A mother died instantly late Friday night after a head-on collision on Clemson Boulevard. Haley Dawn Kiley, 18, of Iva, died instantly of blunt force trauma when her eastbound 2007 Saturn crossed the grass median at 11:39 p.m. and struck the 2007 GMC Yukon driven by Nathaniel Cornelius Mattress, 42, of Anderson, according to Anderson County Deputy Coroner Don McCown.
