Former Marine struck and killed in SC truck stop parking lot

Oglesby told authorities he didn't see Libert, who was wearing a black shirt and jeans.
Former Marine Garbin Libert, 53, of New Haven, Connecticut, was walking from the Love's Travel Stop store to his vehicle in Fair Play when a tractor-trailer struck him about 4 a.m. Thursday. Libert was pronounced deceased at the collision site of blunt-force injuries. No charges have been filed against the truck driver, 37-year-old Tony Oglesby of Memphis, Tennessee.
