The 2 p.m. crash happened near mile marker 195 when a south-bound 2002 Toyota ran off the left side of the road, into the median and struck a tree, said Cpl. Sonny Collins, South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Victim identified in deadly Dillon County accident
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the victim as Raul Perez, 44, of New York.
