One person has died and three others were hurt in a wreck involving three cars and a bus on a bridge at the South Carolina-Georgia state line.

When the Honda tried to merge back into its lane as it approached the Back River Bridge, it struck the other cars and then swerved in front of the southbound bus, Collins said.
A bus carrying 56 people to St. Patrick's Day festivities in Savannah was traveling on U.S. 17 when a car in the oncoming lane attempted to pass two other vehicles and swerved into the path of the bus. The person driving the car that attempted to pass was killed in the accident. Three people in the other cars were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The collision closed the road for around 4 hours.
