Investigators in Ridgeland are investigating a fatal crash that happened Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Two people died and 3 others are in critical condition at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah after a 4-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound. Alma Jo Cordell, 66, of Summerfield, FL was driving a Lincoln north on I-95 when the vehicle exited the road, traveled through the median and into the southbound lanes where it collided with 3 separate vehicles. Jack Harold Cordell, 67, of Summerfield, FL, was a passenger. Both people were pronounced deceased at the crash site. Barbara Ann Kulisek, 53, of Bluffton, was struck by the Lincoln. She was transported to Memorial by EMS where she was treated and released. Adrienne F Davis, 52, of Greer, SC, was hit head-on by Cordell's Lincoln. Brenda J Burris, 60, of Greer, SC; Gina Lynne Dunn-Mayfield, 54, of Belton Bell TX; and Kristi Ann Brooks, 50, of Simpsonville, SC, were all passengers in Davis' vehicle. All four were transported to Memorial. Melvin Ernest Tucker, 69, of Sparks GA, also collided with the Lincoln but was not injured.
