Anyone in Hendricks County will tell you the Sparks family is the glue that holds the North West Hendricks School Corporation together. Even after both Larry and Jackie retired from teaching, they both came back to work in other roles.
Remembering my favorite teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Sparks
All I can think of Mrs. Sparks' smile and Mr. Sparks laugh, his belly rolling like a bowl full of jelly.

Jackie and Larry Sparks were both killed as their RV went down a hillside and struck some trees, while their daughter Debbie Dorrell survived, but was pinned inside and had to be flown to UT Medical Center. The Sparks' were well known and long-time employees of the Hendricks County school district and will be missed by many.
