3-car crash sends 1 to hospital

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was sent to the hospital after a three-car crash on I-240 near Airways Boulevard, police said. One of the cars overturned, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The person sent to the hospital is not in critical condition, police said. The accident caused delays on the eastbound side of I-240, and the off ramp for exit 23A is blocked. The scene is expected to be cleared by 3 p.m.
