One dead, one in critical condition after crash
The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was heading northwest on Raleigh LaGrange when it struck a curb. The vehicle then hit a pole causing the car to split in half ejecting two people.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Police later identified the man that was killed as 25-year-old Quinton Johnson.
