A Nashville woman is dead after a tractor trailer carrying 40,000 pounds of pumpkins slammed into her home.

Police said in a statement that the truck driver, 34-year-old Leonard Wilson of Nashville, said the trailer began wobbling and he lost control of the vehicle. Wilson was not injured in the crash.
Carol Boo was killed when 18-wheeler hauling 40,000 pounds of pumpkins veered across the two-lane roadway near the intersection of McGavock Pike and Kimberly Drive in Donelson, crashing through the wall of her home and into the bedroom she was sleeping in. The accident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Boo's husband and 35-year-old son were in other areas of the house and were not injured. The truck was being driven by 34-year-old Leonard Wilson.
