Two people were killed, and according to troopers at the scene, there were other injuries.
Three vehicles were involved.

Dennis Wilson, 61, of Amarillo, was also driving south on the highway in a 2005 Toyota Carolla when Hendrix moved into the northbound lane to pass a tractor-trailer. The Nissan then collided head-on with the Lincoln, which then hit the Toyota.
