Irfan Karovaliya, 32, and Pyarali Karovaliya, 58, killed; 2 adults and 11-year-old child injured in wrong-way crash on Texas 71 in Bastrop County, Texas

An SUV traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Texas 71 crashed head on into a minivan traveling west on the highway, DPS trooper Robbie Barrera said.

Irfan was driving the minivan and Pyarali was the front seat passenger. Both men were wearing seat belts, Barrera said. A third passenger, Parbesh Karovaliya, 32, was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with incapacitating injuries, Barrera said.
