Man dead, woman critically injured when motorcycle, truck collide in E. Travis Co.
A man in his 20s is dead after a motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck in the 3500 block of South FM 973 just south of FM 969 in east Travis County Saturday afternoon, said a spokesperson for the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

His female passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and DPS reports that she lost a pregnancy as a result of the crash, though the pregnancy loss was not the reported second fatality, DPS said.

Diaz was killed and Soto sustained life threatening injuries and lost her unborn child after they were hit by a truck on FM 973.
DPS says that truck was driven by 38-year-old Cesar Corona-Quiterio, who they believe was drunk at the time of the crash.
