EMS officials said David S. Anderson, 55, was pronounced dead on the scene. According to FlightAware, the plane was scheduled to arrive at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 1:35 p.m.

The plane crashed just north of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and appears to have crashed on private property. Only the pilot was on the plane, so no one else was hurt or killed.
