Police identify man killed in West Austin crash

A woman in her 50s was taken to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center with serious injures. A man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with potentially serious injuries.

Man Killed in West Austin Crash Identified

Police say a white Toyota Prius also traveling westbound struck the Acura during the crash, coming to a rest in the wooded area on the north curb line. The driver of the Acura -- identified as 27-year-old William Ross Carter -- was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. 
One man was killed and three people are injured after a three-vehicle collision in West Austin Monday evening on Ranch Road 2222 at 9:03 p.m. William Ross Carter, 27, was traveling westbound when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, then crossed back into the westbound lane, colliding with the other vehicles head-on. Carter was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
