UPDATE: Collision of two 18-wheelers caused death of truck driver, police say
The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. The first gravel truck was headed east on Texas 71 and was preparing to turn right onto Hill Road into the hospital, Smithville police said. He was split between the turn lane and the main lane.
