One dead in head on wreck on West Port Arthur Road
Initial reports indicate that a Toyota passenger vehicle and a Ford F250 pickup truck collided head-on while traveling on West Port Arthur road. DPS has extremely limited information, but can confirm that one person is deceased.

The driver of the Toyota, a 49-year-old woman from Port Arthur, was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS officials later identified her as Martha Dianne Katan.
