A 32 year old man, driving a white truck, lost control of his vehicle while traveling on Interstate 37 South near Sharpsburgh Road and hit the center median.  This caused a chain reaction crash that involved three more cars to crash into each other. Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to the scene and while attempting to set up traffic control on the freeway, to direct other motorist around the four car crash, a 2013 Toyota Rav4 driven by a 24 year old female crashed into one of the police units.  The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
