An adult and two chldren are dead after a head-on crash on US Highway 67 in Alvarado, Texas early Sunday morning. The accident occurred netween County Road 810 and Baker Lane and was reported to police just before 1:30 AM. Investigators believe a pickup truck was driving on the wrong side of the highway when it struck the on-coming passenger vehicle. An adult and two children in the car were died in the accident. A third child from the vehicle, as well as the driver of the pickup, were airlifted to an area hospital in unknown conditon. The accident is still under investigation.
