One person was killed and two were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the southbound Dallas North Tollway Ramp to eastbound President George Bush Turnpike around 5 a.m. Sunday.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the Nissan Sentra — for an as-yet undetermined reason — had crashed, and was already in the roadway, upside-down,” he said. “Two motorcyclists who were on the ramp were unable to avoid the collision and struck that overturned vehicle.”

Two motorcycles crash into upside-down car; one dead

One of the motorcyclists was killed; Haschel said the other motorcyclist and the female driver of the Sentra were hospitalized with serious injuries.

One person was killed and two are in critical condition from car two motorcycles colliding on the southbound Dallas North Tollway Ramp to eastbound President George Bush Turnpike around 5 a.m. Sunday. A female was driving south on the ramp in a maroon Nissan Sentra when she lost control, hit the concrete wall, and the car flipped over, according to police. Two motorcyclists, one Honda and one Kawasaki, were also traveling south on the ramp, and police say that the two motorcycles smashed into the Nissan. According to reports, the person driving the Kawasaki motorcycle died at the scene. The female in the Nissan and the person driving the Honda motorcycle were taken to the Medical Center of Plano with serious injuries. The names of those involved have not been released.
