Deadly Crash Involving 4 18-Wheelers, Car in Terrell

Interstate 20 is shut down due to a deadly crash involving four 18-wheelers and a car in Terrell, police say. Terrell police haven't released many details about the crash, but did confirm one person died at the scene. Officials are suggesting drivers take alternate routes. As expected, traffic is heavy in the area. Troopers with the Department of Public Safety are assisting in rerouting traffic.

Details of Wednesday morning fatal wreck released

William Edwards, 66, of Plano was identified as the deceased, according to Terrell Police Department Capt. A.D. Sansom. Edwards was driving a 2009 Nissan that was struck by one of the 18-wheelers, he said.
