The Texas A&M student directory states that Emmou was a communications senior and Cunningham-Williams was a junior. Contreras is listed as a junior studying history and Preston as a senior. Emmou was a campus representative for the Victoria's Secret PINK brand.

"Nikki and Alexis impacted people in ways they didn't even realize,” said Tiffany Sonnier, another Texas A&M student. “Nikki had the confidence of a person that I had never met to the point where it would rub off on you and you wouldn't even realize it, she made girls, Alexis did as well, made other girls feel so empowered." 

Services Set For A&M Student From Killeen Killed In Traffic Crash

Funeral services have been scheduled for Texas A&M University student Alexis Emmou, 20, of Killeen, who was killed in a one-vehicle crash over the weekend.

Four Texas A&M students were involved in a single-car crash Sunday morning that killed two and injured two in Grimes County on FM 244 two miles south of Carlos around 1:10 a.m. The crash occurred when the Honda Civic the students were in took a sharp curve at an unsafe speed. The vehicle exited the road and tree a tree. Driver Alexis Emmou, 20, of Killeen, and Corinthia Cunningham-Williams, 22, of Brookshire, were pronounced deceased at the crash site. Rene Contreras, 20, of Kyle, was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Hospital in critical condition. Tyra Preston, 20, of Houston, was transported to the same hospital in stable condition.
