Authorities are trying to figure out why a car crashed into a plasma center in southwest Houston.
Authorities are trying to figure out why a car crashed into a plasma center in southwest Houston. It happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grifols donor center located in the 8400 block of W. Bellfort near S. Gessner. Authorities said a woman in her 20s drove the vehicle into the building. Houston police and firefighters with the Houston Fire Department responded to the scene. A spokesperson for the plasma center told Local 2 that two donors were injured in the crash. Both of them were transported by ambulance as a precaution to an area hospital with what police called non-life threatening injuries. The driver and the two young girls, ages 1 and 3, who were in the car at the time of the crash were not injured.
