Woman seriously injured, taken to hospital, after crashing her car in a field near Highway 249 in Harris County.

A woman is in the hospital after crashing her car in northwest Harris County.

According to Harris County sheriff’s deputies, the woman lost control of her vehicle car early Wednesday morning and hit a curb on the feeder road of Highway 249 near the Beltway.

Deputies found her car in a field.

She was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital in serious condition.

Deputies said she will be tested for driving while intoxicated at the hospital.
