Trameka Fleming, 33, killed in pedestrian accident with hit and run driver on June 8 on Interstate 10 East.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Division is searching for a driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in east Harris County.

Police say an unidentified vehicle was driving westbound on the main lanes of Interstate 10 East. Authorities say the vehicle failed to stay in a single lane, went across the median and into the westbound service road between Sheldon Road and Cedar Lane.

That's when authorities say the vehicle hit a woman walking in the roadway. The vehicle did not stop, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say it happened around 11:40 p.m. Sunday.

The pedestrian was identified as Trameka Fleming. The 33-year-old was struck again by a semi-truck towing a tank trailer according to investigators. The driver of the semi-truck stopped and called police.
